Interact with The Watch
Dear watchers, as mentioned at the launch of this portal, we envisage it to be a content music system where "Watchers" can creatively interact with the band. Tell us what you think about this initiative via the Contact us form. The idea behind this initiative is that anybody interested can listen to a musical piece and if desired, you can download it and re-record it using your own musical interpretation. With the piece, we will also provide the music score/notes of the song. Please send us your interpretation and we will share it with the other WATCHERS who will be able to enjoy your musical skills! We look forward to interacting with you!
Twentyseventh Street | |
| Description: | FABIO MANCINI has provided a piece of music (Twentyseventh Street) from his repertoire, which the band would like to share with you. The idea is that we would like the music to inspire some of you to provide personalized impressions of this piece. You can also provide your own arrangement for this song. MP3 and the music sheet can be downloaded. If you would like to listen to Fabio's other works, please visit his personal website at www.fabiomancini.altervista.org |

Members Interaction
Have you got any personal musical pieces recorded that you would like to
share with the WATCHERS Community? If yes, please do not hesitate
to send it to us.
It is important to highlight that the piece you send must be ORIGINAL
(no covers nor copies!!!).
The idea behind this interactive initiative is to
promote the sharing of creativity amongst artists. Members can interact
constructively with the artist by:
1) posting comments on the musical piece;
2) proposing another interpretation of the musical piece (e.g. using another instrument or
proposing words to the piece).
The artist can always respond to any comments made by members on his/her musical piece.
This interactive initiative is in the spirit of the open source philosophy.

Hi Girl | |

| Description: | The song "Hi girl" was in the beginning written by me and my elder brother, in 1976, when I was sixteen years old. I started with some chords, a melody and I had some ideas about the lyrics. My brother then helped me express my ideas. Now 2006 I' beginning to remake some of my earlier songs. Hi girl, is the first attempt. |
| Techicalities: | Here I use some of the intruments I like. I use two acoustic guitars, a bass guitar, a drummachine my voice and sounds from the wonderful instrument mellotron. The sounds I use is flute, strings and choir. I use the eight voice choir at one side and boyr choir on the other side. |

| Description: | Have you ever felt the sensation of not being "musically" understood by anyone? This song was born on one of those days. Why do we always need to write and play songs for others?... Since nobody has ever dedicated any song to me I decided to dedicate this one to myself. With the initial riff I try to express a great sense of fulfillment and l let myself go in this piece. |
| Techicalities: | This piece has been recordered in my home studio using an audio card TASCAM US122 together with a VST32, a Line6 POD1, a NI Battery2 and a Broomstick Bass. Every POD sound is based on a SOLDANO SLO100 simulation. For this song I've used my favourite guitar: an IBANEZ JEM 777DY of 1988 with original DiMarzio Pickups. Satch and Steve Vai have inspired this piece... obsiously according to my ability and technical skills. |

| Description: | The inspiration for this song has arrived from a great musician, a friend of mine with whom I often team up. This song may sound hysterical in some places - rather like "get-up-and-go" and it strongly features the use of FloydRose. |
