| The Watch have been very involved in some live acts around Europe.
The last date of The Vacuum tour was in Versailles (France) with the recording
of a live DVD.
Due to all these activities and to time flying quickly the recording of the new album took longer than initially planned. The vocals recordings lasted till the beginning of December whilst the keyboards will be recorded by the end of December. The new album will consist of seven or eight tracks and the titles of three of them have been already decided: "The Border", "1936", "Sound of Sirens". December has also been the month for an exciting discussion amongst The Watch about the title. It appears that THE WATCH III won the battle but the debate is still open. The band line-up embraces Simone Rossetti (vocals), Ettore Salati (guitars), Marco Schembri (bass), Roberto Leoni (drums and percussions), Fabio Mancini (keyboards). The recordings will end at the end of this month and the mixing will start shortly during the first days of January. Stay tuned for more news regarding the progress of the new album and visit The Watch Portal soon. |

| The Watch are preparing themselves to the studio sessions that will finally begin at the end of Summer 2006. And just before the beginning of these sessions, every band-member will have a little and deserved holidays! For the new album, a couple of new instruments have entered The Watch's gear: an MPG handcrafted classic guitar and an analog Yamaha synth, straigth from the 70's; you'll hear their sound on new tracks, and probably in the upcoming live gigs. But also The Watch's family has enlarged itself with a new-entry: Giulia Stucchi, daughter of Simone Stucchi and Alessandra Stevanin! The greatest wishes to her and to her parents by the whole band and staff! And to you all, happy holidays! Vacuum will be the favourite in our cd player either trekking on the mountains or laying on the ù shore in the sunshine . |

| TW Management is working hard not only for the release of the new album but also
in planning and organising new gigs and events. After playing at the RosFest
2006 some new chances to see the band playing live in North America have arisen.
Keep an eye on the Event Map for dates and locations and stay tuned to the TWP
for the forthcoming news!
Regarding the situation on the European side we will soon play in France, Belgium and at the PRockFest '06 in Germany . These dates will conclude the Vacuum tour. During these shows we will add a couple of changes to the programme, and we hope that these changes will be a pleasant surprise for all of you. Due to some problems with Studiolab, a couple of little delays have occurred in the recording of the new album tracks. Roberto will begin his studio session by the end of August. Due to this delay, the production of the DVD has been postponed since the release of the new album takes centre stage and will be given highest priority. For those who are ready with bags and bikinis, be it in the spectacular mountain ranges or the exotic beaches of the world.... bring our music in your hearts and enjoy the holidays! |

| So... what's happened in Phoenixville?? A fantastic experience for The Watch and hopefully for everyone who came out there. The festival was amazing, days devoted to great music. The band is proud to having shared the stage with such collagues and proggers. During the gig as hedliners we have felt that strong and intense sensation that make us proud to work for such an audience. Let us say that playing live for you guys it's probably worth than selling millions of commercial cds... but we can't say anything since we don't produce commercial staff nor we sell millions of cds :-). After a very short and well-deserved holiday The Watch came back to work. We are preparing the next important live appointment: the Bergkeller Festival. It will take place in July and it will feature RPWL and Ray Wilson. In November The Watch are scheduled to play at the ProgRock Festival in Germany, together with Flower Kings, Riverside, Abarax, Pendragon, Flamborough Head and Cast. Aside from festivals, the band will play his usual set also in Belgium (November) and France (December), and Mattia is working hard to prepare the whole leg for Fall 2006. |

| Spring 2006 has welcomed The Watch's world with some really nice gigs that
took place in Switzerland, France and USA. The band played their electric set in "La
Bomba" in Bossonnens, where the audience has been very hot and the whole staff,
too. The warmth of Swiss people has defeated the cold of the weather during
our trip to Bossones and back.
The day before The Watch Acoustic Trio made his first appearance in Fnac Rive
in Geneve. A small but higly professional venue, fit for unplugged concerts
usually made by artists whose albums are sold in the Fnacs.
Paul Herlitschka was there and he has recently reviewed that event in our newsgroup
The Black Cage. We are all satisfied of this new experience,
a big challenge in arrangements and sentting preparation.
In April some new gigs have been fixed for Fall 2006, including
Germany and France, details will be announced soon.
In the meantime Simone Stucchi has finished the mixing of the awaited "Live Bootleg". The setlist features SHINING BALD HEADS, HEROES,GODDESS, IVORY, DNALIEN, THE VACUUM, and the songs was recorded in different live sessions during 2005 (including Gouveia, Boerderij, Sesto S. Giovanni and Z-7 ). We think that this live album captures the band's energy while playing live: the same great quality of studio albums joining the passion and strength of prog musicians on stage. Our special thanks to Luca Midali, assistant engineer of producer Simone Stucchi, and to Claude Senette, who collaborated on engineering. On 13th of April the band took another journey to the Alps, this time in France, in Sassenage, at Theatre En Rond. The first set was for Exvagus and then it was our turn: a full energic set in front of a passionate audience. Sassenage is surely another location where The Watch wish to come back. April has been a very busy month for the band and the whole staff since USA planned live at Rites of Spring Festival 2006. It was our first gig in the States and everyone was very curious about the Phoenixville gig. Curious about our gig at the RoSFest? You can read some of our fans' feedback in the Watchers Zone. |

| The band keeps on working on new material, and maybe the real production of the new album will start by Spring-Summer 2006. Roberto, as usual, will be the first to enter the studio. The main influence is progressive in the way the guys intend it... rock, first of all. On the other hand, Simone, Ettore and Fabio have completed their project as an acoustic trio: the acoustic live set will feature songs from Ghost, Vacuum and a couple of covers. The first acoustic gig will be in March 2006 and then others will follow; the management of the trio is lead as usual by Mattia and Chiara. Always concerning the live side, the band and the staff are mixing the tracks captured on the gigs of 2005, but we can't at the moment tell you exactly which will be the path for this work: when will it be released, which songs will it feature and so on. You can check all the gigs out in the apposite section: Spring 2006 will feature some shows by the band in Europe and USA, where, as you know, The Watch will headline one of the most important prog festivals all around the world. They'll have the pleasure to share the stage with Mirthrandir, Hamadryad, Karmakanic, Satellite, Magic pie, The pineapple thief, Pallas, Ephemeral sun, Harmony in diversity, Neo. With some of them The Watch already played during these years. |

| So, another Watch year is about to end. Surely a very good year for the band: Vacuum has rose to the top of progressive rock album sales all over the world, and it has been appreciated by a very large audience. The Watch have toured in the main European countries with the "Vacuum tour", and they have been very much welcomed by their fans. 2006 will surely be another satisfying year. On the live side, new gigs have already been confirmed and some other are TBA: at the moment The Watch are scheduled to play in Geneve, Bossonens, Genova, Sassenage, Phoenixville, and it means that once more they will travel over Europe and come back to America. A couple of this gigs will feature the acoustic trio. About new material to come, Simone and the guys are working on new compositions and arrangements, and some new songs will see the light by Spring 2006. The production of the live tracks is still going on, and the guys hope that within Summer 2006 something will be ready. And about personal information, we can tell you that some members of the band seem to have been caught by GAS ("Gear Acquisition Syndrome") and probably you'll see the result of this syndrome directly on stage! A new entry in The Watch Staff is Luca Spanò, who leads the portal and lets you know updated infos about the band's activity. Luca is an old friend of Simone and a professional in this field, besides being a really nice guy, and a patient one (when you work with such a crazy band you have to be...!). Roberto and Simona became husband and wife on the 8th of December and the ceremony has featured a performance by Fabio at the church organ: They have told "yes" while "Tomorrow Happened" was coming out from Fabio's fingers. Back from their honeymoon, The Watch Christmas Party has taken place, and the whole band and staff want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! See you in 2006 with another Watch year, full of music, peace and love! |

| Hello everybody, The Watch have new plans for spring 2006. As you know, the main event will be the Rosfest in April in Phoenixville, and some others will take part in Europe: Italy, France, Switzerland will be visited by The Watch show, by the moment, and in a second moment some other countries will be. Brand new Watch feature is The Watch Acoustic Trio by Simone Rossetti (vocals, flute, percussions), Ettore salati (acoustic 6 and 12 string guitars, backing vocals,), Fabio Mancini (pianos) that will perform the band's songs in an acoustic version. Ettore has purchased a brand new 12 string acoustic guitar to suit this purpose. This kind of a band has been requested for gigs in promotional venues, the first appearance will probably take part in spring 2006. The Watch are working on new material, too: some gigs have already been recorded and Simone Stucchi and the musicians are considering the possibility to work out the tracks. On the others side, having Simone Rossetti already composed some new tunes, arrangements on brand new material have started and are going on. Pre-production of a new song called "Yesterday" has started. And now a personal event: on the 8th of December Roberto Leoni will marry his long-beloved Simona. The red Watchbus for this time will take the musicians to a church, and not to a temple of rock! |

| Dear friends of The Watch, the 2005 Vacuum tour leg has come to the end. The 7th and 8th the two last gigs have taken place: the first at Z7 in Pratteln (Switzerland, near Basel), a very nice venue, and the second in Dortmund, a special Watch appearance for the Genesis Party. Very different venues and very different audiences, but both are prog addicts who enjoyed the band's set. In Dortmund, to honour the aim of the Party, three Genesis covers have been played, too: Get 'Em Out By Friday, Anyway, Can-Utility And The Coastliners. You can watch to Z7 photos at these links: http://www.progsol.net/index.php?module=photoshare&func=showimages&fid=47 and http://www.pschuetz.com/foto/thumbnails.php?album=7. The musicians have enlarged their setup with some new intruments which will be used on the new album: an M400, analogic tremolos and a new 12-string acoustic guitar. But surely it will not end here like this... This new album will not be recorded until some months and it will take some more time to be released, but the composition of the songs has started and also some arrangements. The Watch will work on all this things during winter. A new gig is added to the Spring 2006 Vacuum tour leg! It will take place in 11th March at “La Bomba” in Bossonnens (Switzerland). |

| Back from holidays, the band and staff have started their job once again. The Watch have rehearsed all the month long to set the schedule of the October gigs; they will feature different songs because of the difference of venues and audience. Surely the Dortmund gig at Genesis Party will feature a couple of Genesis cover, while the Z-7 show will be based upon Vacuum, as usual. Even though the third album has been released almost a year ago, the bandmembers are still requested to answer to interviews about Vacuum itself and the work of the band. Soon some new interviews will be available on the net and on prog magazines. The Watch songs have started to spread over the borders of the prog circuit, in fact "DNAlien", "The Ghost And The Teenager" and "Shining Bald Heads" have been used as soundtracks for some Mediaset TV promos. DNAlien and Ghost have been on air for a reality-show called "La Fattoria", and Shining for the thriller movie "Radio Killer". Two new shows can be announced: 13th of April 2006 in Sassenage (France) and 30th April 2006 in Phoenixville (USA) for Rosfest. The Watch are proud to be headliner for one of the most important prog festivals around the world; they will share the stage with Pallas, Hamadryad (two bands with which the band already played in other festivals), Magic Pie, Satellite, Karmanic, The Pineapple Thief, Mirthrandir, Ephemeral Sun and some others still TBA. Some other gigs are in progress, you'll hear about them soon. Keep your eyes on The Watch official web site and The Black Cage newsgroup and your ears on Vacuum, Ghost and Twilight! |

| The band left the 23 for the Northern Europe. The first gig took place at Cafè Cairo as a pre-show for the Freak Show Festival, managed by Charly In Wurzburg. The day after The Watch performed in Reichenbach at Bergkeller; in spite of the heat both the gig has been very amusing, thanks to the "heat" of the audience! Then they went to Stockholm to play the gig in Tantogarden as planned. Unfortunately the gigs in Koln and Hamburg had to be cancelled because of some mangement problems, while the Berlin gig has been cancelled due to the lack of pre-sales. The Watch are sorry, but these problems don't depend on their will, we'll just hope that in the future similar troubles won't happen, and we want to thank every single person who supported the band, first of all the managers of the confirmed gigs (Charly, Uwe and Hansi... all nice guys!) and the people who make the concerts happen: Paul Doctordiper Herlitschka, Mattia Senette, Chiara Majo, Giorgio Bertini. After those shows, the bandmembers left for their deserved holidays with their (full of patience) families. The staff wants to rest a little, as well, so we wish you all good holidays, the next live rendezvous with The Watch will be held at Progsol festival, Z7 Pratteln (Switzerland) the 7th October, see you all there! |

| The Watch played two more gigs in Portugal and Nederland. For the first one they took part to Gouveia Art Rock Festival; everyone who came to the gig surely recognized Simone's face as the main picture of the festival, shot by Piero Romainville. Ok, maybe Simone's face was not so recognizable under the mask... but such costumes you can find only in the Watch's gigs, as you know! In Holland they played another satisfying gig, and a video extract of that gig is available for download at The Watch's newsgroup The Black Cage; the song is "Heroes". Unfortunately, due to management reasons, the acoustic live gig supporting Hackett for the 28th April in Italy is cancelled. You'll be able to watch to the acoustic trio in other gigs the upcoming months. The band continued rehearsings because they decided to offer a little different schedule for the next live shows. By the end of June and the beginning of July the Vacuum Summer Leg Tour will be in Germany and Sweden. The 14th April they played in their hometown for Altrock Festival, managed by Agartha Prog Team. All went well apart from a couple of technical problems, the band wants to thank the audience for the patience shown during the waiting for the problems to be solved. Happy Birthday to Ettore (29th April) and Simone (30th April)! |

| The Watch are proud to announce that Fabio Mancini is the new keyboard
player of the band. Fabio is an important italian pianist and keyboardist
who previously released piano solo and organ solo albums. He has always been
interested in progressive rock and has always appreciated the work of The
Watch. When they met, they clicked at once, and it's been natural for the
band, who needed a new keyboardist, to have Fabio in the line-up. They
rehearsed and already played live the first gig after the release of Vacuum.
It has been great: The Watch played the 20th March 2005 at Calamita (Italy)
with full energy and passion. Songs from Vacuum played: Damage Mode, Shining
Bald Heads, Goddess, The Vacuum. Soon you'll know more about Fabio and the
work of the band on the official web site. Vacuum is selling out! It's going
to be re-printed, after only five months of release. Shining bald heads has
been chosen as soundtrack for the official presentation of some musical
items for a big European company, while the videoclip of Damage Mode has
been officially presented on SKY music channels circuit, and also for Centro
Studi Musica Progressive in Italy. Ghost will be re-printed in digipack
version. Live side: The band has rehearsed and set the new live show, which
is almost in the ultimate version. Next live shows of the band:
20th March Calamita - Cavriago (Italy) 10th April Gouveia (Portugal) 28th April Teatro Elena - Sesto San Giovanni (Italy)* 6th May Boerderij - Zoetermeer (Nederland) 14th May Teatro Elena - Sesto San Giovanni (Italy) 24th June Cafè Cairo - Wurzburg (Germany) 25th June Bergkeller - Reichenbach (Germany) 29th June Koln (Germany) 1st July Tantogarden - Stockholm (Sweden) 3rd July Knaack Club - Berlin (Germany) 4th July Hamburg - (Germany)** 6th October Fnac - Geneve (Switzerland)*** 7th October Z7 - Pratteln (Switzerland) 8th October Genesis Party - Dortmund (Germany) *The Watch acoustic trio support to Steve Hackett Acoustic Trio **it will be held in the historical venue where The Beatles met Ringo Starr for the first time (!) ***The Watch acoustic trio |
